Italian investors will begin production of tractors in the Kostanay region
The Italian company SDF Group and "Agromashholding KZ" JSC are planning to create a joint production of agricultural engineering of the German trademark "DEUTZ-FAHR" in Kazakhstan. The corresponding document was signed on the eve between the management of two companies.
The project involves creating production at the site of the localization center of AGROMASHOLDING KZ JSC in Kostanay. The annual production volume will be about 500 units of tractors and 100 harvester units. The sale of finished products will be carried out through the trading network of the Kazakhstan company.
"Italian investors studied the possibility of implementing this project from June last year. This year, representatives of the foreign company visited Kazakhstan and conducted several meetings with specialists of government agencies and agricultural equipment companies, in whose organizations our company assisted. Following the visit, they decided to implement the project in Kostanay. The project is very promising, in the future, investors plan to increase localization and consider the possibility of exporting products to neighboring countries, "said the project manager of JSC "NC" KAZAKH INVEST " Ainur Zhumanbayeva.
According to investors, about 150 permanent jobs will be created as part of the project. The company intends to bring the turnover of sales up to 20 billion tenges.
It is worth noting that today "KAZAKH INVEST" promotes the implementation of another 11 projects in the field of agricultural machinery for $ 200 million, three projects were commissioned in 2019-2020, it is currently working to expand production capacity and deepening localization. Projects implement investors from the USA, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, and other countries near and far abroad.
"Deutz-Fahr" is a trademark of tractors and combines, which is located in Germany. This company is included in the SDF Group of Companies, which was founded in 1977 and successfully operates in the territory of Italy and Western European countries.
