Arriving in Kazakhstan
Visas for entry into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall be issued by the diplomatic missions of the MFA of the RK on the basis of the agreed invitation (visa for support). In the absence of foreign institutions of the MFA of RK in the host country, visa for is issued in neighbouring countries according to the list of interchangeability of embassies and consulates of the Republic of Kazakhstan consular offices or international airports in the city Astana and Almaty on arrival.
Investors can choose to enter the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan visa for categories "investor",
"business" and "business immigrant" depending on the purpose of the visit.
Investor visa for
Category A5
Who can get?
Managers and/or deputy managers and/or heads of structural subdivisions of legal entities carrying out investment activities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreigners and stateless persons investing in accordance with the MFCA investment tax residency program, as well as their family members.
Single entry visa
Issued up to 90 days with the possibility of stay in Kazakhstan for all period of validity of the visa.
Multiple entry visa
Issued up to 5 years with the possibility of stay in Kazakhstan for all period of validity of the visa.
Category A6
Who can get?
Foreign businessmen investing more than 300 thousand US dollars in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Multiple entry visa
Issued for up to 10 years with the possibility of staying in Kazakhstan for the entire period of validity of the visa.
Business visa for
Category B2:

Single entry business visa
For category B2 and B3 is issued for a period up to 90 days with the possibility to stay in Kazakhstan for up to 30 days.
Multiple entry business visa
Category B2 issued multiple-entry business visa for a period up to 180 days with the possibility of stay in Kazakhstan up to 90 days. A B3 multiple-entry business visa is issued to: founders or members of the board of directors; persons arriving for negotiations, conclusion of contracts in the framework of cooperation in the field of industrialization and investment; this visa is issued for a period of validity up to one year with the possibility of staying in Kazakhstan for no more than 30 days at each entry).
Electronic visa for
An electronic visa (business, tourist and medical treatment) is issued on the basis of a valid invitation from the Kazakh side, issued in the units of the migration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the prescribed manner.
Foreigners may arrive/depart to/from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan using a valid electronic visa only through the checkpoints of international airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Electronic investor visas, business visas, tourist visas and medical treatment visas are issued to citizens of 109 countries (the list of countries is attached).
An electronic visa is valid only for the visa recipient and does not apply to accompanying persons.
Paid consular fees are non-refundable.
The passport provided by the visa recipient must meet the following criteria:
1) do not raise doubts about the authenticity and belonging to its owner, contain notes on renewal, reservations, entries, erasures and corrections, torn or embroidered pages;
2) must have at least 2 blank pages for visas, except for recipients of visas for exit from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3) its validity must expire not earlier than 3 months from the date of expiry of the requested visa, except for recipients of visas for exit from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4) must not have renewal marks.
Individuals and legal entities receiving immigrants enter information into the EIS Berkut visa and migration portal by means of a personal electronic digital signature via the websites www.vmp.gov.kz or egov.kz, or provide notifications by direct contact with the Migration Service units or send them by mail. Notifications on the stay of foreigners and stateless persons can also be sent through the information system “e-Qonag” via the website www.eqonaq.kz by users of the said system. Business Immigrant Visa
Who can get?
An immigrant who has arrived with the goal of conducting business activities in accordance with the Migration Act.
Single entry visa
Issued up to 90 days with the possibility of stay in Kazakhstan for all period of validity of the visa.
Multiple entry visa
Issued for up to 2 years (for ethnic Kazakhs - up to 3 years) with the possibility of staying in Kazakhstan for the entire period of validity of the visa.

Contacting the Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan: in case of positive consideration of the invitation, given the number of approvals for transfer to diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan with submission of the following documents and information:

Passport (valid at least 3 months from the date of expiry of the visa, at least 2 free pages in the passport).

Completed and signed application form with one current photo (3,5X4,5).

A copy of the invitation from the Republic of Kazakhstan with number of visa support of the RK Ministry of internal Affairs.

STEP 1 - Submitting an application for a petition on the electronic licensing portal of the Republic of Kazakhstan (e-license):
The applicant (or his representative by proxy) shall attach to the application the following documents:
1
A copy of the identity document of the person applying for an investor visa with a notarized translation into the state or Russian language (mandatory, qualification requirements)
2
A copy of the service recipient's charter with a notarized translation in the state or Russian languages (mandatory, qualification requirements)
3
A copy of a document confirming the person's position (mandatory, qualification requirements)
4
Copies of documents confirming the fact of investment in the investment project for the last 36 (thirty-six) months prior to the date of application (primary accounting documents prepared in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Accounting and Financial Reporting" (mandatory, qualification requirements)
5
Invoices issued in accordance with the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Taxes and Other Mandatory Payments to the Budget (Tax Code)" (mandatory, qualification requirements)
6
Customs declarations prepared in accordance with the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan" (mandatory, qualification requirements)
7
In the event of the presence of recommendations from government agencies or quasi-public sector entities confirming the implementation of an investment project by the service recipient in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, additional (mandatory, qualification requirements) is attached
The service provider, within 3 working days from the date of registration of the application, checks the submitted documents for compliance with the requirements and makes a decision on issuing the application if the basic requirements for the provision of the public service are met and one of the following conditions is met::
1
membership of the service recipient in the Council of Foreign Investors under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2
the service recipient has an investment contract concluded with the authorized investment body;
3
the service recipient has recommendations from government agencies or quasi-public sector entities confirming the implementation of an investment project by the service recipient in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
STEP 2 - Making an invitation:

Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs (inviting party), first applied in the current year for the processing of the application (invitations) are in RK Ministry of internal Affairs at the place of its registration (Department of migratory police MIA RK) the following documents:

a copy of the certificate on the state registration of a legal entity or individual entrepreneur;
2
a copy of the Charter of the legal entity or of a patent;
3
a copy of the order on appointment of the head of the legal entity;
4
the order of the legal entity about appointment of its representative for the delivery of documents or power of attorney;
5
a copy of the identity card of the attorney.

The term of consideration of the invitation is not more than 5 working days from the date of application.
STEP 3 - Contacting the Embassy / Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
In case of positive consideration of the invitation, given the number of approvals for transfer to diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan with submission of the following documents and information:

STEP 1 -
Applying for a petition on the electronic licensing portal of the Republic of Kazakhstan (e-license) Contacting the Government for Citizens State Corporation :
To apply for an investor visa, an application from the authorized investment authority must be submitted.
The applicant (or his representative by proxy) shall attach to the application the following documents:

A copy of the identity document of the person applying for an investor visa with a notarized translation into the official or Russian language (required, qualification requirements);
2
Electronic copies of documents confirming the fact of investment, indicating the surname, first name, patronymic (if any) of the recipient and the amount of investments made by him in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the amount equivalent to 300 (three hundred) thousands of US dollars or more for the last 12 (twelve) months prior to the date of filing the application (an extract from the account of the holder of equity securities with a maturity of more than 10 (ten) years or an extract from the charter of a legal entity with a notarized translation in the state or Russian languages on replenishment of the authorized capital with an attachment of a certificate of state registration (re-registration) of a legal entity) (required, qualification requirements)
The service provider checks the submitted documents for compliance with the requirements within 3 working days from the date of registration of the application and decides to issue the application if the basic requirements for the provision of public services are met and the following conditions are met :

In the case of obtaining a multiple-entry visa for business trip extras include - a copy of the agreement, contract or confirmation letter (request) of the joint stock company "national company "KAZAKH INVEST" to participate in the cooperation in the field of industrialization and investment (with the exception of ethnic Kazakhs and former compatriots and citizens from the list of economically developed and politically stable migration States, freed from the need to present invitation for visas

a medical certificate confirming the absence of diseases, the presence of which prohibits the entry of foreigners and stateless persons into the Republic of Kazakhstan;

a certificate of the presence or absence of a criminal record issued by an authorized body of the country of citizenship or permanent residence;
5
certificate of the presence or absence of a ban on entrepreneurial activity on the basis of a court decision issued by an authorized body of the country of citizenship or permanent residence. Visa recipient must be of legal age.
