Supervises the development of entrepreneurship and industry, increase of the share of Kazakhstani content, tourism, industrialization, innovation, export potential and attracting investment (in terms of supervised industries), agriculture, veterinary medicine, land relations, cross-border cooperation in supervised areas, consumer protection, including in terms of agricultural goods, and communication issues.

Ensures the implementation of digitalization measures (in the supervised areas) and the introduction of project management principles in the activities of the relevant areas.

Coordinates:

activities of local executive bodies and territorial divisions of central state bodies in the supervised areas;

issues related to the implementation of the State Program of Industrial and Innovative Development (monitoring and controlling the progress of projects, search and selection of projects for inclusion in the Business Support Map, organization of the work of the Regional Coordinating Council for Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development), business support programs at the regional level, development of tourism activities;

issues of creation and development of special economic zones, technoparks, industrial zones;

the work of local executive bodies on the implementation of the state policy for the development of the agricultural sector, the conclusion of memoranda with commodity producers on mutual cooperation, within the framework of social responsibility of business,

the work of local executive bodies with the territorial divisions of the republican financial institutions of National Managing Holding "Kazagro" JSC on the implementation of state support programs,

work on digitalization, information development, information security and project management;

work on cross-border cooperation.
