Industries attracting private investment in Kostanay region
Since the beginning of the year, more than 200 billion of private investments have been attracted to the economy of the Kostanay region. In which sectors the funds have been invested, the deputy akim of the region, Yerlan Spanov, said at the apparatus meeting. “During the reporting period, 272.3 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the regional economy with an increase of 10.2%. It is gratifying that about 80% of financial investments, which is 215.8 billion tenge, are private investments. Indeed, in recent years, the emphasis is on attracting private investment in the development of the economy, - said E. Spanov.
“It is worth noting the fact that investment in basic industries has increased: agriculture - by 27.2% and industry - by 15.5%”. If we go to the regions, then a significant increase in investments was provided in Auliekol and Mendykarinsky districts, as well as in the city of Arkalyk.
“As for small and medium-sized businesses, despite the pandemic, there is an increase in the number of operating entities by 6.1%. Production output increased by 20.6% and is 586.6 billion tenge, 158.6 thousand people are employed with an increase of 2.1%. The situation has leveled off in the field of transport logistics. Here, the gross output amounted to 251.1 billion tenge. Compared to the previous period, the transportation of goods increased by 9.3%, passenger turnover - by 18.7%, ”added the deputy mayor of the region.
The volume of construction work also increased in the region - by 8.5%. The growth was especially marked in 10 districts of the region. This is Beimbet Mailin's district - 2.3 times, Auliekolsky - 2.3 times, Amangeldinsky - 1.9 times, Fedorovsky - 1.5 times.
“With the plan for housing commissioning for 2021 - 449 thousand square meters. m, 337.3 thousand sq. m of housing, with an increase of 18.1%. The annual plan was fulfilled by 75.1%. 2,830 apartments have already been commissioned. Including 232 rental apartments, 747 credit apartments through the HCSB through bonds of local executive bodies, 1276 - commercial apartments, 575 - individual residential buildings were commissioned,” E. Spanov concluded.
