In the next 3 years, it is planned to invest more than 112 billion tenge in the processing of agricultural products

In order to get acquainted with the investment project, Akim of Kostanay region K. Aksakalov visited Aruana-2010 LLP in Kostanay.

In his Message, the Head of State notes the importance of developing the processing of agricultural products. The task is to increase the share of processed products in the agro–industrial complex to 70% within 3 years.

"Every year we produce about 5 million tons of wheat, which is a quarter of the total grain volume in the country. About 45% of them are spent on processing," the governor of the region noted.

160 enterprises operate in the field of crop processing, including 37 milling enterprises with a total capacity of about 2 million tons of grain per year. About 70% of the flour produced is exported.

One of the largest flour milling enterprises in the region is Aruana-2010 LLP. The company decided to expand and build a new mill complex, which will increase the total production capacity of the plant to 175 thousand tons per year. Investments in the construction of a new project amount to 3 billion tenge. This project will additionally create 100 jobs, increase production and export volumes, which will increase the share of processing in the region, as well as the amount of tax revenues to the budget by more than 200 million tenge per year.

According to Akim of the region K.Aksakalov, in the next 3 years it is planned to invest more than 112 billion tenge in the processing of agricultural products for the implementation of 15 projects. These and other projects will allow us to fulfill the instruction of the Head of State to increase the share of processed products in the agro-industrial complex.
